Trauma and post-traumatic stress: support in Brussels
After a violent or overwhelming event, body and mind can stay on alert for a long time. These reactions make sense, and the right support can help settle them.
When to reach out
- Memories that come back, nightmares
- Hypervigilance, startling easily, constant tension
- Avoiding reminders of the event
- The aftermath of violence, an accident or serious illness
- Feeling cut off from others
How I work
We move at your pace, in a safe setting and without judgment. Nothing is addressed before you are ready.
